To say 2017 has been kind to Cardi B would be a huge understatement—the Bronx native has been everywhere.
After kicking off the year with Gangsta B*tch Music Vol. 2, Cardi signed with Atlantic Records and released “Bodak Yellow” as a single. Since then, nothing’s been the same.
Owning the summer, the song topped the Billboard charts (making her the first solo female rapper to do so since Lauryn Hill did it in 1998) and even snagged not one but two GRAMMY nominations.
Now, after a series of late night television performances, getting engaged to Offset, and appearing on two more Top 10 singles (G-Eazy’s “No Limit” and Migos’ “MotorSport” with Nicki Minaj), Cardi has finally come through with her follow-up single, “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage.
