Earlier today producer TM88 took to Twitter to reveal that he had not been compensated for producing Lil Uzi Vert‘s massively successful 2017 single “XO TOUR Llif3.” “Thank you Atlantic Records for being the worst label in the history of f**k sh*t!” he lamented on Twitter.

This comes after reports alleging that Atlantic Records names certain albums “mixtapes” in order to avoid fairly paying producers.
All of this is interesting, as TM88 and fellow producers Southside and Supah Mario have connected with Vert for a new song, “Mood.”
Whether this track becomes a hit remains to be seen, but can TM88 get paid at least?
