In 2016 Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash Broadway show Hamilton got a mixtape courtesy of J.Period, and even topped the Billboard charts in its opening week. Recently, Lin released a video for the single “Wrote My Way Out” which featured Nas, Dave East and Aloe Blacc. Now the song, gets an update, which removes Dave and Nas completely from the track.
Fret not, however: more-than-capable emcees Royce 5’9″, Black Thought and Joyner Lucas now join Aloe on the remix to “Wrote My Way Out.” Out tonight on all major streaming platforms, a preview can be heard below.
