In 2017 Willie The Kid made his welcomed return with a triple threat of collaborative EPs: Filthy Money with rapper S-Class Sonny, and Deutsche Marks and Blue Notes with producer V Don. Keeping things moving in the Year of the Dog, he returns with a third project in as many months, Watch The Fly.
Dubbing it “The Flyest 10 Minutes Ever,” Willie has also released a 48-minute short film which accompanies the 4-track EP. The short is actually pretty interesting; the music videos for each song are incorporated in between the overall story of the film, but not in the typical “hood movie” way. To be honest, the short film is actually a pretty good watch.
