Welp, guess I have to come out the house this summer after all, as she is on my bucket list of performers to see.
Now in its third year, the Panorama Festival — considered to be the New York equivalent of Coachella since its organizers are the minds behind it — has brought the likes of Kendrick Lamar (in 2016), A Tribe Called Quest and Solange (in 2017) to their stages. For 2018, they may have arguably nabbed one of their biggest acquisitions yet: Janet Jackson.
The youngest child of the Jackson family is among the headliners for the festival, which takes place July 27-29 at New York’s Randall Island, occupying the top spot of Saturday (July 28th). The Weeknd and The Killers are the other headliners.
Panorama will also be home to SZA (who will be making her second appearance at the festival), Migos, Sabrina Claudio, Cardi B, Daniel Caesar, Jhené Aiko and Gucci Mane are among the other acts tapped to perform.
Tickets will be available this Friday, February 2nd.
