South Central’s Dreamvillian, Cozz, has released what he is calling his “debut album,” Effected. The anticipated LP follows 2014’s Cozz & Effect and 2016’s Nothin’ Personal… which I guess we can call “mixtapes/street projects” now?
Led by the singles “Ignorant Confidence,” “Bout It” and the Curren$y-guested “Badu,” the album also features the likes of Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Garren throughout.
Prior to the album’s release, Cozz unveiled an accompanying documentary clip that chronicles his come up from one of Los Angeles’ most talented artists to a member of J. Cole’s team.
