Rae Sremmurd want to be the OutKast of their generation, and are attempting to do what Big Boi and André 3000 did in 2003.
Producer Mike WiLL Made It took to Twitter to reveal that their forthcoming third album SremmLife 3 will actually be a triple-album: two respective solo projects from Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee, Swaecation and Jxmtroduction, and the group effort SR3MM. The inspiration for this was OutKast‘s 2003 diamond-seller, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.
They’ve now released the first three singles from the ambitious project: Swae’s “Hurt To Look,” Jxmmi’s “Brxnks Truck,” and Rae’s “Powerglide” with Juicy J. The three tracks can be heard below.
