One of the funniest follows on social media, the Long Beach rapper receives a heavy dose of criticism nearly every day for his unapologetic political views, his love-hate relationship with the Clippers, and/or his Black pride. So, to quell those naysayers, he’s launched perhaps the best hip hop GoFundMe of all time: #GTFOMD.
“You can decide to donate to the cause of 2 million dollars, which will allow me to shut the f**k up forever,” he says, “and you will never hear from me again. No songs, no interviews, no anything. If not, you can choose to let me do what the f**k I want to do, when I want to do it. Get off of my d**k, or fund my lifestyle. The choice is yours. Either way we appreciate you.”
What will he do with the money? Vince has “agreed to do the following:” Move to Palmdale, CA, buy a Honda, buy a year’s supply of “soups for the homies locked down,” and buy a puppy. At the time of this article, the GoFundMe page was inching toward $400. He has a long way to go, but that’s progress!
