With over two decades in the game, MC Paul Barman hasn’t released an album since 2009’s Thought Balloon Mushroom Cloud. Since then, he’s popped up sporadically with guest appearances on tracks alongside Open Mike Eagle, L’Orange, and Kool Keith.
Back in his album bag, the Jersey-bred rapper will release his third album, (((echo chamber))), on May 18th. And to kick things off, he’s reunited with Open Mike Eagle to share the project’s title-track, produced by ?uestlove.
Mostly produced by The Roots’ drummer, the LP will also boast production credits from MF DOOM, Mark Ronson, Prince Paul, and James Poyser, with Masta Ace joining OME as the project’s other guest.
