Back in the summer of 2016, in the midst of a turbulent blitz of ‘rap beef’ that involved everyone from Drake and Joe Budden to Meek Mill and The Game, Robert Glasper and his band of merry men decided to cut through the drama and release their soul-cleansing ArtScience album.
Fast forward nearly two years and Mr. Glasper has teamed up with Montreal beatsmith Kaytranada to take the Experiment’s trailblazing blend of R&B, Hip-Hip, and Jazz into new sonic realms with The ArtScience Remixes.
Equipped with eight reimagined tracks, the updated release includes cameos from Don Cheadle, Talib Kweli, Alex Isley, and Iman Omari.
