Weekly Dope.
With only two weeks to go before we hit the century mark, we’re back with the 98th entry in our Weekly Dope playlist. For the artwork, we ran with Janelle Monáe for returning with Dirty Computer, her first album in half a decade, Chicago’s Tobi Lou for his tobi lou and the Loop EP, Boston’s Michael Christmas for his “Girlfriend” single, and NYC’s own Marlon Craft for “Ain’t With Today.”
On top of that, Kanye West made his return to music with some bullshit “Ye vs the People” (with T.I. as The People). We got projects from Bridget Kelly, Slum Village, and Post Malone. Fans of bars were hit with plenty from the likes of Locksmith, Chris Rivers, Your Old Droog, Termanology, and Homeboy Sandman. Plus new music Nikki Jean, King Los, Remy Ma, Aloe Blacc, Freeway, and more.
