Roc Nation just added another emerging artist to their growing roster—Maryland’s Q Da Fool.

A former member of the Pakk Boyz, Q has had his fair share of run ins wth the law. But with a new deal in place, the DMV native is looking to keep things rolling on the outside from here on out. And for his first release under the house that Jay-Z built, Q will be dropping his 100 Keys EP, produced entirely by Zaytoven, in the near future.

To celebrate the news and kick off the campaign, Q Da Fool has released the first single, “Not Playin.”

“‘Not Playin’ is one of my favorite tracks that Q and I had recorded, because it has that real authentic trap bounce,” Zaytoven told Billboard. “I decided to work with Q when I first saw one of his videos. I knew then he was a star, so I sent Q’s manager some beats and when he sent the songs back, it was a confirmation to me that he was definitely a superstar.”

“Working with Zaytoven on this EP has been a dope experience for me,” Q adds. “I mean, Zay is a legend in the game and when he sent me the first set of beats, I knew then that this 100 Keys EP was going to be a classic project for me.”

Released with a matching video, peep “Not Playin” below.
