Anderson .Paak is back and lively as ever.

After kicking off March with “Til It’s Over” and bringing out Dr. Dre during his One Night Only show overseas, the Left Coast crooner is back with another one—teaming up with Jahlil Beats and AntMan Wonder (who was sampled for PRhyme 2) for his funkdafied new single, “Bubblin.”

“‘Bubblin’ is just a whole lot of fun,” .Paak told Zane Lowe. “Jhalil sent me a pack of beats—50, 60 beats. I loved them all. I was just writing to all these beats and that was one of them that I just loved off top. It sounded like some black 007 action adventure high-speed chase type of music.

“Originally I was trying to get Lil Simz to rap on it first because she was in the studio too. I remember trying to get other people on it, then eventually I just wrote on it. It took me a couple of days. I did it. I started it in L.A. and I finished it in New York. And it was just one of them ones. It gets the energy going, gets the blood going.”

Released with a matching video, that finds .Paak literally swimming in the money, “Bubblin” can be heard below.

Like what you hear? .Paak and Jahlil Beats have more heat in store for us with another collaboration to appear on Jahlil’s upcoming album, Gratitude.

Oh, and as a bonus, .Paak also joined New York-bred DJ/producer Sam Spiegel on his new single “20 Below” with Doja Cat.
