Aesop Rock has a lot to get off his chest.

After completing the LICE trilogy with Homeboy Sandman and capping off 2017 enjoying “Hot Dogs” and grinding for life, the man with the most extensive vocabulary in hip-hop is back at it with his new song, “Klutz.”

Void of an actual song structure, Ace Rizzle proceeds to unpack a relentless stream of wordplay wizardry over ambling drums with a bloated bass line.

“Occasionally song structure eludes me and it feels good. No problem-solving or pesky hit chorus, just rambling. Klutz is such a moment,” Aesop says. “I had started a couple things to this beat before sacrificing it to the gods of not-shutting-up, but this seemed a fitting fate.”

Teaming up with longtime video collaborator, Rob Shaw, the two bring the extended verse to life with a fresh visual of multiple versions of Ace reciting the rhymes.

Check it out below and pre-order a limited 7″ vinyl and “Klutz” t-shirt (featuring the artwork of Stephen “ESPO” Powers) via Fifth Element.
