Lou Phelps – “Want To (For the Youth)”

The brotherly duo are back at it.

Earlier this year, Lou Phelps and his older brother Kaytranada connected for a straight up groove with Jazz Cartier. And now, the Montreal natives are back at it with another one.

With “Come Inside” still in heavy rotation, Phelps and Kay keep it coming with “Want To (For the Youth),” which was released with a matching video.

“‘Want To’ is a song for the youth, to encourage them to do what they want to,” Phelps told Complex. “I rap about materialistic stuff in the song, so in the video I become invisible at certain times, leaving the material things floating in air like the gold chain or the purple jackets.”

Check out the Pique-directed clip below, revisit Phelps’ 001: Experiments project, and be on the lookout for his next project—which is hopefully dropping soon.
