While she may be known to some for her acting roots (CSI: Cyber, Insidious: Chapter 3, the forthcoming series Five Points and a memorable role on Insecure), Hayley Kiyoko has been an acclaimed musician for years, and was in the group The Stunners alongside Tinashe. She dropped her solo debut album, Expectations, in March 2018, and now she returns with a visual for the Kehlani-guested “What I Need.”
Directed by Kiyoko, the video follows a pair of childhood friends as they hope to begin new lives in a new town. Throughout their travels the two become close, ultimately being more than just friends. Watch below.
