Weezy’s taking advantage of his new lease on life.
After reportedly settling his long-standing lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne has now been freed from the label and is only signed to Cash Money’s parent label, Universal Records, paving the way for Tha Carter V to finally be released. It has now been announced that Wayne has landed another slot on the festival circuit, replacing Cardi B at New York’s Panorama Festival on July 28th.

Cardi, understandably, dropped out due to her pregnancy.
Wayne will now perform along the likes of SZA, Gucci Mane and Janet Jackson on the festival’s second day.
