Drake Drops “I’m Upset” Video, Reveals ‘Scorpion’ Release Date

blame it on Meka June 13, 2018

Drake has finally given a release date for his fifth studio album.

The proper follow-up to 2016’s Views, Scorpion is slated to drop everywhere on June 29th. Naturally, we all have to ask: will he respond to Pusha-T‘s etherous “The Story Of Adidon?” Honestly, I hope he doesn’t and just keeps it pushing. But hey, this is why I’m not a rapper.

Anyways, he followed up the reveal of both the release date and cover art with the visual treatment for its latest single, “I’m Upset.”

Directed by Karena Evans (“Nice For What,” “God’s Plan“), the video is a literal Degrassi reunion featuring the alumni of the long-running drama (down to the kid who shot Drake in the show). Even Jay and Silent Bob pop up… no, seriously. See what I mean, below.

In other news, Drake has now been credited as a writer on Kanye West’s “Yikes,” which gives more credit to the “I just left from over by y’all putting pen to the sheets” line he used on his “Duppy Freestyle.”
