At one point, RetcH was poised to be one of rap’s breakout artists, with a knack for crafting street-styled heaters and an absolutely hilarious social media following (one of his memorable moments would be immortalized in N.E.R.D‘s 2017 single “Lemon“). Unfortunately, a series of legal issues nearly derailed his entire career.
Now, after beating his case that would’ve essentially kept him in prison for nearly the rest of his life, Retchy P returns with After The Verdict. A 10-track follow-up to his 2017 mixtape Still Up that he describes as “shoot a n***a in front of the birthday party music,” RetcH rounds up the likes of Roc Marciano, Dave East and Tsu Surf to assist him throughout. Production is solely handled by Grimm Doza.
