On July 30th, Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story will debut on the Parmount Network (formerly Spike). Executive produced by JAY-Z, the six-part docu-series will tell the tale of a teenager whose tragic and untimely death gave rise to the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

The living legend, Black Thought, now pays tribute to Martin with a new song, “Rest In Power.”

Starting with a recording of the police call made by Martin’s killer (we will never mention that asshat’s name on this site, ever), Thought pays homage to the slain teen with a somber set of visuals directed by Rohan Blair-Mangat. Incorporating several poignant and at times heartbreaking visuals—including security footage of Trayvon’s fateful trip to 7-Eleven and cameos from his parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin—”Rest In Power” can be seen below.
