African music is a bop, and it’s never been hotter. From Davido (more on him later tonight) to Tiwa Savage, the genre has steadily increased its reach and has now impacted the States.
Producer Mut4y of the Legendury Beatz crew (for the unaware, you’re likely familiar with the Drake and Skepta remix of “Ojuelegba“) frequently collaborates with Wizkid, and the pair recently connected for the song “Commando” (which also features rising star CeezaMilli). The trio have released a matching set of visuals for it, which can be seen below.
