Masego Announces Debut Album, Drops “Old Age” with SiR

blame it on Shake August 22, 2018

Age ain’t nothing but a number.

The last time Masego and SiR got together, “Ooh Nah Nah” was born. The song was a highlight from SiR’s Her Too project and still gets heavy burn to this day.

Now, with both artists (hopefully) working on new projects, the saxophone master and TDE crooner are on the hunt for some bonafide cougars with “Old Age.”

“The main theme of that show [a Katt Williams stand-up] was how slept-on older women are,” Sego tells NPR Music. “They got food in their fridge, make love better, and can just know what they want outta life. At that time in my life, I was also attempting to court this older woman. She was feeling me, I was feeling her, the only issue was somebody got the thought in her head that our age difference meant we can’t work.”
