Media Joe is making moves!

With the release of episode 175 of The Joe Budden Podcast comes some great news. Not only is Joe Budden’s State of the Culture show premiering on Revolt next month, the podcast has inked a deal with Spotify and will be exclusively playing on the platform from September 12th on out. You’ll still be able to listen for free and they’re even doubling up on episodes. On top of the normal Wednesday, we’re also getting an episode on Saturdays.

On this episode, Joe, Rory and Mal begin with recapping the VMA’s (14:39). Joe highlights his issues with the awards show (17:09) and also realizes his appreciation for Travis Scott (44:08). The guys then discuss Nicki Minaj beefing with Travis Scott, Nicki potentially leaving Universal and how she has attempted to expose streaming services (55:03). Jeremih kicked off his own tour? The guys discuss the R&Beef between Teyanna Taylor and Jeremih (1:42:13). And lastly, Joe reflects on the journey of the podcast (2:06:50) and makes a huge announcement regarding the future of the podcast (3:04:57).

For the “Sleepers” segment, Joe played Kiana Lede’s “Show Love,” Rory chose Emotional Oranges’ “Personal,” and Mal went with Energe’s “High Note.”
