blame it on Shake September 6, 2018

It’s been three years since The O’My’s released Keeping the Faith, but the Chicago-based R&B/soul duo are officially back in action with a proper follow-up.

Enter: Tomorrow, the latest offering from the minds of Maceo Haymes and Nick Hennessey.

“We ended up coming back to Nick and I sitting down with our instruments and just playing [the ideas] out as full songs and going from there,” Haymes told Billboard. “I think the major goal was to lay down what these past couple years for us have brought in terms of life, as well as learning and as people.”

“We spend the majority of our time making music and living in Chicago,” Hennessey added. “That inherently just comes through in [our music]. It’s the community that has grown with us and has helped us grow throughout all these years.”

Equipped with 11 tracks, including “Puddles” with Saba, The O’My’s’ latest creation also features an apperance from Chance the Rapper on a track called “Idea.”
