Masego is Silky Smooth on Debut Album, ‘Lady Lady’

It’s been a long time coming, but Masego has finally blessed the world with his debut album, Lady Lady.

An ode to all the women in his life—form the feelings they inspire to the guidance they’ve had on his path to present day—the multi-talented musician explains the project as an aural manifestation of his future dream world.

“I write about love so I can keep focused on the true goal: to be with my lady, lady and travel with her and have my little family unit,” he told Vogue in a recent profile.

Equipped with 14 tracks—led by “Tadow” with FKJ, “Old Age” with SiR, and “Queen Tings” with Tiffany Gouche—Lady Lady also features contributions from Ari Lennox (“Sugar Walls”), Sounwave, Ty Kayembe, Sasha the sexy saxophone, Nicky Quinn, and more.
