Eminem’s ‘Kamikaze’ Tops the Charts

For the ninth straight time in his career, Eminem‘s latest album debuts at the top of the Billboard 200.

After a surprise release on August 31st, Em’s Kamikaze managed to move 434,000 unites (252k traditional) in it’s first week available to the masses.

The veteran rapper’s tenth major label album now holds the fourth largest opening week of 2018—following Drake’s Scorpion (732k), Travis Scott’s Astroworld (537k), and Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys (461k).

In other news, Astroworld is back at No. 2 (80k), while Drake’s Scorpion sits at No. 3 (79k), and Nicki Minaj’s Queen continues to fall, now at No. 7 (46k).
