What is going on in Astroworld, man…

First, Nicki Minaj raged out several times — on her radio show, on Ellen, and on social media) — when Travis Scott‘s album beat QUEEN for the top spot on the Billboard 200. Now, Frank Ocean has reportedly hit La Flame with cease and desist.

Ah, how we know all about those.

Anyways, according to the bastion of hip hop reporting, TMZ, Ocean was not happy that Scott’s camp altering his vocals on their track “Carousel.” “Frank’s rage has been so real he’s been demanding Travis remove his part in the track, but to no avail,” TMZ reports. “Our sources say lawyers are now involved. We’re told Frank’s legal team fired off a cease and desist to Travis’ team to remove him from ‘Carousel.'”

Can we get along?

UPDATE (9/15): Frank Ocean took to his Tumblr to break down the C&D and reveal he and Scott have already resolved the issues.

I THINK THE SONG SOUNDS COOL, I DID IT IN LIKE 20 MINUTES AND THE MIX SOUNDS THE WAY TRAVIS WANTED IT TO SOUND FOR HIS RECORD. I ALSO APPROVED IT BEFORE IT CAME OUT SO THE CEASE AND DESIST WASN’T ABOUT 🔊 IT WAS ABOUT 🏳️‍🌈. ME AND TRAVIS RESOLVED IT AMONGST OURSELVES WEEKS AGO.
