The wait for Tha Carter V is finally over.
After four years of label drama, delays and pretty much all the bullsh*t you can imagine, Lil Wayne will finally deliver the fifth and final installment of Tha Carter series this Friday Thursday night—his 36th birthday.
“On my birthday, I actually have something special. I will be releasing Tha Carter V on my birthday,” Wayne said in a video announcement. “Y’all hung in there with me, so I can’t do nothing but thank y’all for all the love and all the passion and every ounce of anything.”
