For someone who was raised on Lil Wayne and claims he’s such a fan, Young Thug sure has a funny way of showing it.
First he said Gunny and Lil Baby’s upcoming tape will be “harder” than Tha Carter V just hours before Wayne finally released the long-awaited album. Which is fine, that’s his opinion, but making an effort to compare two random projects just hours before the release? There’s a pinch of shade there. And if that wasn’t enough, Thugger has now decided, less than a day after the C5 release, to announced his Barter 7 project.
Coming off the release of his On the Rvn EP and last month’s Slime Language, Thugger took to Twitter to say the follow-up to 2015’s Barter 6 is “moments away” — whatever that means.
