After bodying a few select instrumentals — from 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj’s “Fefe” to Kanye West and Lil Pump’s “I Love It” — KXNG Crooked and the Horseshoe Gang formally introduce themselves as Family Bvsiness with the release of their debut EP, Grand Opening.
Equipped with five tracks, including “Welcome to California,” Crook and his brothers Dice, Kenny, Demetrius, and Julius get their raps off over some original production.
“Can you name me five brothers, not three, not four, five brothers in the rap game today, that can fuck with Family Bvsiness lyrically?” Crook asked on “Goat Stew.” And after hearing the project, the answer is “no, we can’t.”
