Although he already has one of the best albums of 2018 under his belt with June’s Supreme Blientele, Westside Gunn wanted to cap off the year on a high note and bless fans with the sixth installment of Hitler Wears Hermes.
“I’m back on my pure bullsh*t,” WSG said on Instagram. “IDGAF about none of this industry sh*t. I’m the FLYGOD, the chosen one. I been said it. I do too much for the culture not to get the respect I deserve. So, I’ma take it! GXFR is gonna take it. I’ve never been more focused and that’s scary. Before I sell my soul to get popular, I’ll just smack a popular fuck ni**a and get popular from doing that.”
Locked in at 13 tracks, HWH6 features contributions from Alchemist, Nick Grant, Evidence, Benny The Butcher, Marco Polo, DJ Muggs and others.
There’s a catch, however: the album is only available at Gunn’s e-home until November 9th, when it will be released on all platforms.
In the meantime, in case you’ve missed any of the previous volumes, the first five have been grouped together as Hitler’s Dead.
