Now that streaming has taken over how we consume music, several artists have been re-releasing their past projects in order to capture new ears and give old fans a chance to relive some of their favorite moments.
This year, we’ve seen Wiz Khalifa do it with Cabin Fever and Kush & OJ and Childish Gambino revisiting his 2011 EP. And now, the trend continues with Pro Era re-releasing their debut mixtape, PEEP: The aPROcalypse.
Unlike Khalifa’s Kush & OJ, which now features terrible remakes of some of the project’s best songs because the sample wouldn’t clear, The aPROcalypse actually comes equipped with a bonus track.
Produced by Statik Selektah, “Know the Rules” by Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight and CJ Fly was recorded during the original 2012 sessions, but wasn’t included on the project—until now. Check it out below and be on the lookout for a new Pro Era album dropping in 2019.
