The Weeknd is “Lost in the Fire” on New Single with Gesaffelstein

This past November marked two years since The Weeknd dropped Starboy. The album served as a huge success, not only reaching double platinum status and earning him his third #1 single (“Starboy”), but it also won a Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Since then, aside from 2018’s My Dear, Melancholy, Abel’s only been active in the feature department, working with the likes of Future, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert and a few others. However, all that changes tonight as we begin a new chapter in his discography–well, sorta.

Teasing a new album, tentatively titled Chapter VI, for a couple months now, The Weeknd is back with new music alongside frequent collaborator, Gesaffelstein–who produced two tracks off Melancholy. Debuting during the third episode of his Memento Mori show on Beats 1 Radio, “Lost in the Fire” will land on the French producer’s upcoming album, Hyperion.

Oh, and did I mention The Weeknd took a shot at Drake? Yeah, he did that. Check it out below.
