Chicago-bred singer, songwriter, poet and all-around maverick Jamila Woods is back.
After ending 2018 with the powerful single “Giovanni,” Woods will drop Legacy! Legacy! on May 10th. The follow-up to 2016’s HEAVN, the 13-track effort will feature contributions from Nitty Scott, Saba, theMIND, Nico Segal and Jasminfire.
Jamila has also released the second single from the project, “ZORA.” Named after acclaimed author Zora Neale Hurston, a video for the track can be seen below.
