After dropping his take on Summer Walker‘s “Girls Need Love,” actor-turnt-musician Trevor Jackson returns with an original offering in “Warning.”
The track is slated to land on Jackson’s forthcoming album, Rough Drafts Pt. 2 Directed by Trevor himself and touches on issues of race, class and perception. “This is my twist on what it’s like to be Black in America, or any minority for that matter,” Jackson said to Billboard. “Accused, judged, and penalized all due to your appearance. So I decided to have a little fun and the idea of our reality vs their idea of us.”
