With his Underrated album dropping this Friday, Papoose wanted to let off one last song before the album’s release. And with Valentine’s Day upon us, the Brooklyn rapper decided to salute his queen, Remy Ma, on “Precious Jewel.”
From the first day they met to the birth of the “Golden Child,” Pap details his love for Remy (and woman worldwide) with a little help from Musiq Soulchild.
“I was overseas when they arrested her/ left the tour, hopped on a plane, I had to rep for her,” he raps on the Ron Browz-laced tribute. “Sometimes I wished it was me locked instead of her/ swear to god I almost died the day they sentenced her/ but we stayed loyal, they couldn’t severe us/ things happen for a reason, I guess it better’ed us.”
