Saint JHN – “Trap” f. Lil Baby

blame it on Shake June 27, 2019

It’s been about a year since Saint JHN blew the doors off the DopeHouse with his infectious debut, Collection One.

Since then, the self-proclaimed Ghetto Lenny Kravitz dropped a few songs, had brunch with Jay-Z,

Ready to take it to the next level, the Brooklyn native (who is now managed by Roc-A-Fella co-founder, Kareem “Biggs” Burke) is gearing up to release his second album, Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs for Christians—a combination of his Ghetto Lenny Kravitz moniker and Christian Sex Club brand.

Collection One was remarkably honest, but it was just scratching the surface,” JHN told Coveteur. “I didn’t give you everything I had, I wanted to start the story. Collection One is the equivalent of me walking into the bar in a blue mink, you’re sitting by the bar, and I walk up to you and I buy you a drink. You like how I look at you, you like how it feels. I don’t introduce myself, I just leave. The impression was made. [Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs for Christians] is when I come back and reintroduce myself. I tell you my name and I ask you yours.”

Kicking off the campaign, Saint JHN has teamed up with Lil Baby for the project’s first official single, “Trap” (which you may have heard in ‘leaked’ form earlier this month, but it sounds 10x better in proper quality). Check it out below and lookout for the album dropping in April.

UPDATE: Four months later, the album is still nowhere to be found. A video for “Trap” has been released, though, which can be seen below.
