The emergence of a number of talented female rappers over the past few years has been something to definitely take note of. Rapsody, Dreezy Cardi B and more recently, City Girls, Megan Thee Stallion, Tierra Whack and more are just a few of the names leading the charge.
Hailing from the rap powerhouse that is Georgia, PAP Chanel looks to add her name to the list above. Breaking out onto the scene thanks to her take of Tee Grizzley’s “First Day Out,” she soon signed a deal with the indie record label, Guap Records, where she released her first project, The Definition of P.A.P.
Stacked with 5 tracks, the lone feature on the album came from fellow Georgia resident Lil Baby. After letting off videos for “Talk 2 Cheap” & “Never Breaking,” PAP Chanel returns with one for “Tip Top.”
