A couple weeks ago Kehlani returned with While We Wait, her first project since 2017’s SweetSexySavage. The project is quite the impressive output by the Oakland singer, with “Love Language” and “Morning After” being my personal favorites.
With videos for “Nights Like This” and “Nunya” available for our viewing pleasure, Kehlani is back with another video, this time for “Butterfly.”
In the video, two male dancers stand as the protagonists for the video’s duration, with Kehlani showing face every so often. Approaching the end of the video, Kehlani emerges like a butterfly from its cocoon for the song’s spoken word outro.
