JAY-Z, Chance The Rapper & More To Rock Woodstock 50 Festival

blame it on Meka March 20, 2019

Most of us weren’t even alive when the first incarnation happened (and, to an extent, the 1994 rendition), and many were too young to physically experience this epic set from DMX:

And, following the premature and controversial end to Woodstock ’99, nobody was sure if the historic festival would ever come back. Well, wonder no further.

After weeks of rumors, Woodstock will return for its fiftieth anniversary August 16-18 in Watkins Glen, New York.

Similar to its predecessor, the cast will compose of musicians from all genres: JAY-Z, Chance The Rapper, his brother Taylor Bennett, Vince Staples, SiR, Run The Jewels, Princess Nokia, Common, Halsey, Janelle Monáe, Leven Kali(!), India.Arie, Akon(!!), and a plethora more.
