What’s in the Tapedeck v.10 (03.01.08)

blame it on Shake March 1, 2008

Let’s start the month of March off with a bang shall we? If you somehow missed it; peep the new Jay-Z & Mary J Blige non-tagged track and the new full Rick Ross & Jay-Z track. Now onto this edition of What’s in the Tapedeck. After the jump you’ll get some new Young Chris, Young Buck, Naledge (Kidz in the Hall), Flo Rida f. Lil Wayne, Fat Joe & DJ Premier, Re-Up Gang, Rock (Heltah Skeltah), Termanology, The Cool Kids, etc. If you come across some names you don’t recognize, don’t sleep! I wouldn’t post them up for no reason. Shake has a great taste in music, ya’ll should know that!

Fat Joe – Thank God For That White (prod. DJ Premier)
Dope track off the Fat Elephant. Yea I said it. A dope track from Fat Joe. Sorry for the radio rip. I’ll drop the CDQ on you soon enough.

The Cool Kids – Action Figures
This track has been out for awhile, I know a lot of people had a rough quality version. Here is a CDQ for your listening pleasure.

Young Buck – The Strip Club (prod. JA)
Semi-new joint off an upcoming Young Buck mixtape. Who needs the Unit? Not Buck, that’s for sure.

Re-Up Gang – You Ain’t a Killer 2008
Big shout out to Peter Rosenberg for this one as he had the Clipse , Ab-Liva & Sandman on the radio and chose a beat for them to rip to shreds.

Reks – Remember (prod. 1914)
I know there are a few Reks fans that lerk on the site. Dude has been putting out a lot of heat lately. Be on the lookout for his upcoming project.

Naledge (Kidz in the Hall) – Apollo Freestyle
Naledge rips over the classic Ghostface track. If you haven’t checked their new mixtape (Geniuses Need Love Too) that we world premiered, ya’ll sleepin!

The Camp – Little Story f. Slaine
The Boston crew drops another heater featuring Slaine (of Special Teamz fame). Check their myspace for more tracks.

Muja Messiah – Amy Winehouse
Muja is a dope up and coming emcee out of Minneapolis. I first heard him on Atmosphere’s Crewed Up. You know I got that white, that Amy Winehouse!

Muja Messia – True Lies (prod. Big Head)
Another banger from the Twin City representer. Off the MPLS Massacre, dropping March 18th.

Flo Rida – American Gangsta f. Lil Wayne
Mixtape track from Chuck T. Mr. Elevator meets Mr. Lean. Interesting.

J.R. Writer – I’ma Do Me
New track from Cam Jr. Writer. Off that upcoming Politics N Bullshit (Back to the Streets).

Young Chris – One More Day
I swear, Chris is grindin more than 90% of the artists out there. New solo albu on it’s way, yessir!

Plies – Bust It Baby (Part 2) f. Ne-Yo
According to the email blast this is the first ever double-single. Oh boy, let’s go grab some party favors and celebrate! …. or not. I’m posting for the Ne-Yo guest spot only.

Rock (of Heltah Skeltah) – Attempted Murder
Rock was recently hit with some charges. Can you guess what? Off the upcoming Shell Shock mixtape.

Astonish – Life Ain’t Sweet f. Termanology
The Molemen emcee Astonish teams up with Termanology for this dope cut off the From Now Until Forever EP.

Amil – Who I Am (prod. Jonathan Hay & Sky Michaels)
Yes, THAT Amil. Who is she? Jay … any words? “Fuckin with me, you gotta drop A(mil)/ Cause if you gonna cop somethin you gotta cop f’real”. Word.

Ace Gutta – Cashflow f. Rick Ross, T-Pain & DJ Khaled
Gotta put something for the mainstream hippies out there. Ricky Ross album in stores March 11th. Can’t say the same for Ace Gutta.

Termanology, Snuk & Hectic (ST. Da Squad) – Where You Are f. Nigel Hall
Another new joint off that upcoming ST. Da Squad mixtape. I MIGHT drop it on ya’ll tomorrow. If anything, it will be on DX for stream this weekend. Green Tank Productions on the beat.
