At #29, this is “Way To Go”-2006, produced by 9th Wonder. This song, for those who don’t know, is from my Cloud 9 EP that I did with 9th Wonder.This was the official 1st single off the project and is what pretty much kicked the door in for me as an artist. When I did the record, I didn’t even plan on this being a single, I just wrote it, recorded it, and kept it moving, When the EP was done, however, I chose this as the lead off, and I happy to say that I made a pretty smart choice. This was easily the most recognized and successful song on the CD, and even got my YouTube game popping when I shot the video with my man Tee Smif and my home girl Laura Adibe. The song is street but sorta light and fun at the same time. Its a good mixture, and it was a perfect tone setter and introduction to anyone contemplating on purchasing the project. This was the eighth song I did out of the 12, so this came sorta towards the end of the recording process. The outcome to me was a great song, one that a lotta people name when citing their favorite 9th Wonder records. So here it is, “Way To Go”-2006, produced by 9th Wonder. Holla
