Oren Yoel – illRoots Interview

blame it on Shake April 17, 2009

The man behind the majority of Asher’s Asleep in the Bread Aisle (and a few choice tracks with TiRon & Tunji) sits down with our illRoots fam to talk about a few things. His influences, future projects, working with Asher, his band New Kingdom and more. An early warning… you will be hearing this name a lot more in the future. You can trust in that statement.

iR: Dope. Alright so if you could do an album or project with any one artist, who would it be and what would you try to create?
OY: Tough question. I don’t know. Off the top of my head, I would love to produce a collabo with Andre Three Stacks and Cee-Lo. I would want to just do something bananas with them, like on some Led Zeppelin meets MGMT type shit.
