While at the Slaughterhouse listening session, Xilla got a quick word with Nickel Nine about everything from the album to Jay-Z. But notice I didn’t put those in the title. Here’s what he had to say about the “Dilla Debacle” ©Gotty:
I like Charles, I like Charles a lot. I think he’s definitely is still at that age where he just says things, and that’s where he needs to grow out of just saying stuff. I don’t think a lot of people understand Detriot is a whole other world and we don’t like you talking about our people and the people that are enforcing these things are n*ggas that will kill you. So you know I got that situation under control. I know who to call to make sure that nothing serious will happen to him, but he’s definitely playing with fire. Know what I’m saying. Dilla and Proof n*ggas are very really sensitive about those two deaths.

SHAKE EDIT: Take note, this interview went down before Charles went on to claim he had a personal relationship with Dilla, Ma Dukes, etc. Which still remains my main gripe… you can’t claim you “know” someone because you have some “paranormal” visit from them. And to say you have a close relationship with the mother of a Legend that’s passed on when the truth is she has no idea who you are is still ridiculous. My thought’s remain.
