It might of taken longer than I expected for footage to come out, but here goes the official promo for the 2009 One Stop Shop. I was lucky enough to be apart of this and spent the weekend in AZ amongst legends like Q-Tip, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, RZA, etc; as well Just Blaze, Skyzoo, Don Cannon, Black Milk and many more. One of the best hip hop related things I’ve ever been to. And for a hilarious sidenote: the huge gorilla sized human at the 1:42 almost got his ass beat by the unofficial official First Lady of the NMC. Ask around… And for those that were following my Twitter updates that weekend; check out Don Cannon and Mini Don Cannon (aka Buckshot) at 7:28 mark haha. Man, and while I’m at it… the kid playing his beats at the 9:36 mark had the crowd loony! But shouts to Billboard (in the light blue shirt) who took home the battle. Just look at how much 9th & Just & Pete Rock were feeling it at 11:01.
