We recently got a chance to sit down with the most relevant R&B artist of this generation, Trey Songz, and get his take on a couple of things. Prior to his strong showings on the charts for his new album Ready, we talked about his popularity and how it will start to equate with record sales. Trey also got to explain the difference between “album vs. street” material and how Drake talked him into doing the popular mixtape Anticipation.
