Really dope video from Ryan Lewis. I was thinking of a way to explain what goes on but a comment on the YouTube page does it quite well.
I’m thinking the intention was, these companies allow people to keep themselves isolated. To make a routine of going alone to get coffee or fast food instead of a family dinner. To communicate through the Internet instead of finding people you know in real life. I mean, networks of channels and profiles let you make comments and put out videos, but in a way none of it is real – it’s all bits and pieces that someone real put out in the past, that stick around like starlight when the star’s gone.
