For AlwaysHustle.com February is J Dilla month. Every year I try to think of some way I can pay homage to one of my favorite artists (of all time) by putting people on to his music and by showcasing his work for the people who read my blog. This year, resident AH contributer John Helmer (Dr. Hip Hop) came up with 28 posts, showing off some of Dilla’s best and most obscure works. Since Dilla month ended last night, I decided to put some of John’s work together and with the Help of DJ HOP and DJ Nice, I was able to put a mix together with some killer art that I think Dilla too would have appreciated. This is simply a promotional mix of 15 Dilla tracks. It’s purpose is to remind folks of how dope he was. It also serves as a launching pad for many of today’s new hip hop fans who might not know much about what Dilla did for Hip Hop. – BMUSE
