Yes! We’re finally kick starting the promo campaign for our upcoming NYC-based project, A (2)Dope Mixtape: Empire State Edition. With Torae, Skyzoo, CurT@!n$, Brown Bag AllStars, Chaundon, ESSO, Donny Goines, The Lesondary and many more providing us with some great music. On Wednesday we’ll be letting loose of the first leak. An incredible track from Tonedeff and PackFM (that some of you might recognize from Pack’s IFHR‘s release party).
A few years back, myself and Mek embarked on our first (official) project, A (2)Dope Mixtape: Cadillac Edition. Hosted by U-N-I, mixed by DJ Slimm and featuring music from some of our favorite West Coast spitters (Tunji, Blu, TiRon, Pac Div, Crooked I, One-2, El Prez… just to name a few). Despite this being dropped in ’08, I still find myself listening to it in it’s entirety atleast once a week. And while we had a decent amount of traffic back then, it was nothing compared to what we do now. So I figured I’d bring it back and give y’all a taste of the beginning (and try out this Bandcamp shit). Thanks to everyone that was involved!
