Rocksmith x Wu-Tang

blame it on JES7 September 23, 2010

It comes as no secret that the Wu were at one point not just Hip-Hop icons, but also fashion trendsetters; urban apparel & Wu-Tang went hand in hand like Don Imus & xenophobia. They influenced not just heads in the hood, but white kids in middle America to rock Timbs, Champion hoodies and Carhartt jackets. Heck, at one point they even had their own lackluster, but important in their own right clothing line: Wu Wear. Word to Power.

Following up on the heels of their Wu-Massacre project from earlier in the year, Rocksmith has once again teamed up with the Wu-Tang Brand to produce these nostalgic, early-to-mid-90s influenced pieces. Everything from the Purple Tape to the 36 Chambers album cover is showcased here. You can check out more photos of their pieces after the jump. The line is expected to ship out 10/25, so expect to see them in your local Rocksmith retailers soon after. Also, as an added bonus below are two pre-Wu-Tang tracks from RZA (then known as Prince Rakeem), circa ’91.
